Our LASIK Laser Technology

Dr. Sandy T. Feldman is one of the world's most renowned Personalized LASIK surgeons and corneal specialists. She uses only state-of-the-art advanced FDA-approved laser technology to ensure your eyes are receiving the best and safest treatment.

iFS® Advanced Femtosecond Laser

The IFS® Advanced Femtosecond Laser uses Intralase® Technology to create a customizable LASIK flap in order to personalize it to each individual patient.

This laser can create a flap in just 11 seconds. With 100,000 bubbles per second, it is faster than a fly can flap its wings.

IFS® is a bladeless solution that is a lot more advanced and precise than the LASIK of the past.

iDesign® Refractive Studio

The iDesign® Refractive Studio is the laser that reshapes the cornea in LASIK and ASA procedures.

It is the only FDA-approved laser that measures both the inside (wavefront) and outside (topography) of the eye to fix its imperfections. Most lasers just measure one or the other.

~1,257 measurements of your eye are mapped as data points, which leads to a personalized treatment that can improve your night vision.

VisuMax®

The VisuMax® is a femtosecond laser that can be used to perform LASIK and SMILE, among other procedures. Patients feel comfortable with this laser due to its gentle approach.

With this technology, Dr. Sandy T. Feldman can create a very precise flap while performing LASIK.

During SMILE, the refractive lenticule and the small opening are created in one single step without a flap. This minimally invasive procedure allows for a more rapid healing time.
